Bulk Bag Unloading Station


The EHS Bulk Bag Unloading Station is a modular, GMP system that is designed to work with a wide range of containers and processes. This system utilizes the EHS Ventilation Sleeve technology to provide a high-containment, dust free, and easy to clean transfer system. From high-force conditioning to integrated nitrogen inerting options, the modular design of this unloading station can be configured to address a wide range of process challenges.

Applications

EHS can configure the Bulk Bag Unloading Station to accommodate a wide variety of process equipment. Vacuum Transfer

The Vacuum Transfer Module allows for the bulk bag to be unloaded into a vacuum transfer system that conveys the product downstream to the receiving vessel.


Gravity Chute

The Gravity Chute Module allows this system to be configured so that the bulk bag can unload directly into a receiving vessel on the floor below.


Screw Conveyor

The Screw Conveyor Module allows the system to be configured with a screw conveyor system that can be used to feed the product into the receiving vessel.

  • Control Interface: pushbutton controls, lift/lower of bulk bag, forward/aft of lifting trolley, lift/lower of bag tensioner system, on/off of rotary valve
  • Utilities: electric, compressed air, Nitrogen, dust extraction
  • Hoist Specifications: stainless steel clad GMP strap hoist on motorized trolley, options available for hazardous environments
  • Common Options: powered horizontal drive on lifting trolley, bag conditioning arms, rotary feed valve, vacuum hopper with fluidizer system, hazardous location configuration, WIP sprayball system, vacuum powered bag collapse system

The design of the EHS Bulk Bag Unloading Station allows full wash-down capabilities and access to all surfaces and components. With no sealed panels that could leak or collect water, the design ensures that all the cleaning solution will fully rinse from the frame.
